Joint Monument Inauguration

 On December 11th, 2016, a particular importance ceremony took place in the main entrance of NATO Rapid Deployable Corps - Greece (NRDC-GR), where historical exhibits of the three Branches of the Hellenic Armed Forces created a highly aesthetic composition that symbolizes the new solid foundation of NRDC-GR as Joint Headquarters (JHQ).

COM KFOR's Visit at NRDC-GR HQ

The Commander (COM) of Kosovo Force (KFOR) Major General Giovanni FUNGO, had an official office call with the COM NRDC-GR Lieutenant General Alkiviadis STEFANIS, on November 26th 15:30, 2016, in Pedion Areos Camp, in Thessaloniki. During this meeting they discussed the situation in KOSOVO and the future challenges of NRDC-GR.

“OPERATIONALIZING THE LAW OF ARMED CONFLICTS” SEMINAR

The Office of Legal Advisor of HQ NRDC-GR organized and conducted for the third succeeding year the Law of Armed Conflict Seminar 2016 under the title “Operationalizing the Law Of Armed Conflicts”, which was held at the premises of HQ NRDC-GR from 22nd to 25th November 2016. The event was co-organized with the Multinational Peace Support Operations Training Centre, based in Kilkis.

NRDC-GR HQ Celebrated the Albanian National Day

On November 25th, 2016, NATO Rapid Deployable Corps – Greece Headquarters (NRDC-GR HQ) celebrated the Albanian National Day, with a flag raising ceremony in front of the main building of the HQ at Pedion Areos camp, in Thessaloniki. The event honored with their presence the Commander of NRDC-GR, the Albanian consul of Thessaloniki, the entire staff of the HQ as well as Albanian invitees living in Thessaloniki.
