With the holidays spirit present in  NRDC-GR HQ and the Christmas Day just around the corner, the Commander  LGen Nikolaos DEVETZIS and the Staff of NRDC-GR  enjoyed the  famous Greek Carols ”kalanda”  singed by the  C’ Corps Band and many other bands  and choirs  of Military Formations and Local Institutions.

The 9th NRDC-GR Plenary Conference was held at HQ premises from 12th to 13th Dec. 2013.

NRDC-GR Chief of Staff Major General Ilias LEONTARIS as chairman of the Plenary welcomed the participants on behalf of NRDC-GR Commander Lieutenant General Nikolaos DEVETZIS and thanked both the Framework and the participating Nations for their support and contribution to the common effort.

A delegation of South-Eastern Europe Brigade (SEEBRIG) in the framework of their training activities visited NRDC-GR on Wednesday 11 Dec. 2013.

Head of the delegation was the Commander of SEEBRIG Brigadier General Hakan ESER (TUR, A). He mentioned that this visit is included at SEEBRIG’s annual calendar in pursuit to gain experience from NATO HQ and to improve SEEBRIG’s capabilities.

The annual medical seminar named “ASCLEPIUS 2013” was carried out in NRDC-GR HQ under the responsibility of G4 Branch on 4th and 5th December 2013.

The seminar focused on medical operational as well as clinical issues that influence NATO Operations. Its aim was medical personnel’s improvement in operational capabilities and familiarization with NATO procedures with ultimate goal the enhancement of quality of medical support in a possible future engagement.
