On May 20th 2019, the Italian Ambassador in Greece, HE Luigi Efisio MARRAS paid an official visit to NATO Rapid Deployable Corps – Greece HQ, accompanied by the Italian Defense Attaché Colonel (ITA AF) Enrico FRASSON, the 1st  Counsellor Mr. Alessandro FERRANTI and the Italian Honorary Consul in Thessaloniki, Mr. Christos SARANTOPOULOS.

On May 17th 2019, the Slovak Republic Ambassador in Greece, H E Iveta HRICOVA visited the NATO Rapid Deployable Corps – Greece HQ accompanied by the honorary consul of the Slovak Republic in Thessaloniki, Mr. Konstantinos MAVRIDIS.

The Ambassador had an office call with the NRDC-GR Commander, Lieutenant General Konstantinos KOUTRAS, where various issues of common interest were discussed including matters pertaining to NATO and opportunities to contribute to NRDC-GR HQ manning. The visit concluded with memorabilia exchange.

May 10, 2019

From 6th to 10th May 2019, NATO Rapid Deployable Corps Greece (NRDC-GR) Headquarters, conducted Phase IIIA of exercise "GORDIAN KNOT 2019", to demonstrate the deployment and the capabilities of the Initial Command Element (ICE) and the Joint Logistics Support Group (JLSG) HQ.
