On June 22nd, 2018, NATO Rapid Deployable Corps-Greece (NRDC-GR) celebrated the Romanian National Day, with a flag raising ceremony in front of the main building of the HQ at Pedion Areos camp. The event honored with their presence the Commander of NRDC-GR, the Romanian general consul of Thessaloniki, the entire staff of the HQ as well as Romanian invitees living in Thessaloniki.

On June 13th, 2018, NATO Rapid Deployable Corps-Greece (NRDC-GR) welcomed the Foreign Defence Attaché Association from Athens, who paid an official visit in its Headquarters premises.

On June 11th, 2018, Commander of NATO Rapid Deployable Corps-Greece (NRDC-GR) Lieutenant General Dimitrios Bikos welcomed in the exercise location in Assiros camp the Distinguished Visitors, during the last day of the successful execution of exercise “Trident Jaguar 2018”, where 1300 soldiers from 26 Nations participated.

At May 25th, 2018, officers and family members of NATO Rapid Deployable Corps – Greece foreign personnel, received their certificates on the knowledge of the Hellenic Language, after the completion of the course (beginners and advanced), in a graduation ceremony that took place at the HQ premises, in Thessaloniki.  

The lessons were conducted by a graduate student from the University of Ioannina in History and Archaeology as well as post graduate studies at Neograzistik Freie Universitat of Berlin, while supervised by the Family Support of the Joint Headquarters Support.
