The Commander of NATO Rapid Deployable Corps – Greece, Lieutenant General Dimitrios BIKOS, welcomed the Commander of NATO Rapid Deployable Corps – Turkey, Lieutenant General Mehmet DAYSAL, who paid an official visit in the Headquarters premises, on Wednesday, May 3rd, 2017.

On Apr 5th 2017, a delegation from NATO Rapid Deployable Corps – Greece, led by the Deputy Commander Major General Dimitar ILIEV, visited the Multinational Joint Headquarters ULM, Germany.

The aim of the visit was to enhance the bilateral cooperation between the two HQs in the light of the upcoming NATO certification for both NRDC-GR and MN JHQ ULM as Joint Headquarters in 2018.

On Apr 2nd 2017, NATO Rapid Deployable Corps – Greece personnel along with their families to participated in one of the most significant athletic events, the “Alexander the Great” international marathon in the area of Thessaloniki.

The famous international event which succeeded to reach a registration record of more than 21.000 participants included three different races: Marathon runners, 10.000m Health & Power Walking Race, 5.000m Health & Power Walking Race and 1.000m Race of Primary School Students.
